Condensate
Condensate is water created when humid air hits cold HVAC surfaces and moisture drops out.
Why it matters
Condensate needs a safe drain path. If it backs up, it can cause water damage.

Condensate is normal. Leaks are not. A clogged drain line can cause a safety shutoff and make the AC stop.
