Condensation (windows)
Condensation is water that forms when warm humid air hits a cold window surface.
Why it matters
It can lead to mold, damaged trim, and stained drywall if it happens often.
Where people get this wrong
Condensation does not always mean the window is defective. Humidity control and ventilation can matter more than replacing the window.
Real-world example
On a cold morning you see water on the inside of the window and the sill paint starts peeling. That is the house telling you about humidity and cold surfaces.
Where this hits your build
This comes up during selections and installation. Performance depends on the product and the install. A good window installed poorly still leaks.
