Pot filler
A pot filler is a wall-mounted faucet installed near the stove that swings out to fill pots directly on the cooktop.
Why it matters
It saves carrying heavy pots of water from the sink to the stove, adding both convenience and a premium design element.
Where people get this wrong
A pot filler only provides cold water and requires a dedicated water line run during rough-in. It cannot be easily added after walls are closed.
Real-world example
You swing the pot filler arm over the burner, fill a large stockpot, and fold the faucet back against the wall when done.
Where this hits your build
This hits during the selection phase. Choices here affect layout, daily use, and maintenance. Samples and measurements matter more than catalog photos.
