Airflow
Airflow is how much air moves through the HVAC system and into rooms.
Why it matters
Airflow drives comfort. Too little airflow causes hot and cold rooms and can harm equipment performance.

Airflow problems are often duct or return problems, not a thermostat problem. Closing many registers can reduce airflow and create pressure issues.
